  • Abstract of VASAT poster(CGIAR science forum).

Drought and desertification threaten the lives of almost a billion people in 100 countries. Rural families in the tropics, especially the women, are the most vulnerable. The VASAT is a coalition of experts, rural families and their organizations who accept that knowledge is at the core of preparedness. We use innovations in ICT and learning technology to enhance preparedness, which is better than relief.
